I really love the knife set, and both knives have a great hand feel and balance. I can feel your love for steel in them, my son went nuts over them. He is impressed that there is an American artist that cares enough about his work to strive for perfection in hand work. You blew him away. I can't get the WSK out of his paws and he won't let me put them away.

I am truly honored to have the first signed Horan WSK and companion set. And the first black and green micarta pair. The two look great together, they really do! I am very happy with them, I think the file work on the back of the companion is just great. I send you a picture of them buffed out and all shinny bright.

I'm loving it, you did a great job! I've got the flu right now so I really can't play with it, but I soon as I'm feeling better I'm taking out into the woods to play with. Over the past few years, Tim Horan has demonstrated his superb craftsmanship as a custom-knife maker, but now he has also taken those skills and creativity to sword making. His "Perp Wakishashi" is amazing! The grind-lines are extremely straight, the hamon is very visible, and the aged manta ray skin with black nylon handle-wrap provides a colorful, but firm grip. It is exactly what I was looking for.
